Learn to skate this Fall!

Want to join roller derby?! Sign up for Fresh Meat — our learn to skate program.
FRESH MEAT PROGRAM:
Sept. 18 to Dec. 11, 2016
Cost: $120 plus $50 insurance
Junior fresh meat: Sundays @ 6pm to 7:45pm (Ages 7 to 17)
Senior fresh meat: Sundays @ 7:45 to 9pm, (Ages 18+)
*Senior fresh meat is open to referees.

INFORMATION NIGHT:
Wednesday, September 7
Info for juniors: 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Info for seniors and referees: 7:30 to 8:30 pm
Location: Upstairs at the Callie Curling Club (2225 Sandra Schmirler Way, Regina SK)
Come hang out with us! We'll tell you everything you need to know and answer any questions you may have. You will not need skates for this info night, and you only need to attend one night.
Fresh Meat is a training program that will teach you the basics of roller derby skating. It will start (with skates!) on Sunday, September 18 and practice is once a week.
New skaters will also want to take advantage of weekly "free skate" nights, where you can work on your skills at your own pace. Most Freshies will find they need to skate twice a week throughout the Fresh Meat program in order to pass benchmarks the first time, but go at your own pace! Lots of skaters take Fresh Meat more than once on their path to playing roller derby. We make it look easy, but it isn't.
Once you pass your benchmarks, you can skate at league practices (runs January - October; $240/year plus $50 for insurance) and be placed on a house team.

Our final fundraiser of the year will be a burger night at Bonzzini's Brew Pub!
A ton of different food options are available. Beef, chicken, and veggie burgers AND gluten free is no problem!
All burgers come with a side of fries or lager chips, tossed or caesar salad, plus a cold mug of beer!
We're only selling 125 tickets, so grab yours soon! You can get them from any Pile O' Bones Derby club member, or by emailing us at info@reginarollerderby.com
