 Summer Smackdown review Monday, July 26th, 2010 A big thank you to everyone who helped to make our 2nd Annual Summer Smackdown a huge success! We couldn't have done it without our wonderful volunteers, and of course all of the players and refs. This was by far our most exciting game yet. The Lockdown Lolitas really poured it on, but in the end The Bone City Beaver Dames were victorious 153 - 137. Despite contending with the Roughriders, we still managed to have a full crowd! If you are going to be at the Queen City Ex this year come down to the Brandt Centre and catch some awesome roller derby action! There will be a game every night, whistle blows at 7pm. Pile O' Bones All Star team will be up against Winnipeg Roller Derby League's finest. Tickets are available at all World of Trout locations. |
