Takes place Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

The Pile O' Bones Derby Club will be holding a Fresh Meat Night, Wednesday, March 31st at Miller High School from 6:30 to 8pm.

We will have a short presentation on the sport of Derby and what you can expect when playing/reffing this full contact sport, as well as a short time to try on some skates and equipment and take a few laps to see if it is your thing.

At the Fresh Meat Night, you will also have the option of joining our Fresh Meat Boot Camp group which will run once a week for 4 weeks (April 7th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 7 - 9pm at St. Paul's Cathedral). The Boot Camp will consist of basic skating and derby skills as well as important off skate training for muscle strengthening and injury prevention. The cost of the Fresh Meat Boot Camp is $20, which covers the cost of equipment rental for the 4 weeks.
